About Cimbus

Cimbus is a Canadian applied R&D and engineering company working across environmental systems, aerospace, climate resilience, and dual-use technology.

We develop Cimbus-led technology initiatives and provide technical services within partner-led projects. Our work connects environmental analysis, systems engineering, technology development, and field validation—helping move projects from an identified need to a feasible concept, tested system, and practical route to implementation.

Our combined experience encompasses managing and providing technical oversight for multi-million dollar water treatment and recycling projects, from the largest potable water reuse facility in the world to challenging decentralized environments in 15 countries. This includes funding from NSERC, the Water Research Foundation, UK FCDO, Unilever, and the World Bank. Internally, we boast advanced modeling capabilities employing tools like computational fluid dynamics for process optimization, Simulink for process control, and machine learning for data analytics.
